These particles called microplastic get to the food chain through bats and birds. The issue with these particles, is that multiple associations have warned of its possible link to the development of cardiovascular illnesses, cancer, Alzheimer, infertility and problems with fetus development. Not to mention the pollutants that could be adhered.
